Chill out in Thailand
Travelling in Thailand during Songkran Fastival 2010 at Cha-Am, Hua-Hin, Chumporn. Those are located in the South of Thailand. It's cool to have more times to read and relax. I was very happy to have a chance to listen to the sound of waves and winds which I didn't have long time ago. Then I had a lot of delicious foods over there, especially...nice cakes...at Bann Krai Wang in Hua Hin wow..wow..wow..!!! very impressive

Which one is you?
Choice 1
A job that:
- is challenging (and probably stressful sometimes)- something which you've never done before and aren't familiar with
- requires you to work really hard
- consumes a lot of your time and energy
Choice 2
A job that:
- gives you job security
- is easy - something you always can do
- starts at 9 and finishes at 6 so you can always have some time to relax and do other things after work or during work hour
How to handle the heat
When it's hot like this, I always feel like eating something sweet and cold like ice cream, icy cold soft drink, or maybe frozen yogurt.... or maybe spend all days swimming in the sea.
Oh! I want a holiday!
What do you do when it's hot? Any suggestions?

Music in my heart
No, you're not alone, cos everybody's out there on their own. And you the one of the scene, trying to be like no one's ever been. Everybody knows that that's the way it goes and that's alright with me, I've got time. You try so hard, you get it wrong, you can't deny the feeling's gone It's time you got the luck that you need So keep holding on and time will come You'll jump right up and find you're back on top of the world sure in time you'll be heard, and say, Come on, everybody knows you're meant for better And say what you mean or you won't mean a thing to me Come on, everybody ignores you now but soon your time will come Yeah, they'll know who you are .No you're not alone, cos everybody's out there's on their own. And you were always the same, trying to be like no one's ever been You try so hard, you get it wrong, you can't deny the feeling's gone It's time you got the luck that you need So keep holding on and time will come You'll jump right up and find you're back on top of the world Sure in time you'll be heard, and say Come on, everybody knows you're meant for better And say what you mean or you won't mean a thing to me Come on, everybody ignores you now but soon your time will comeYou're on top of the world Sure in time you'll be heard, and say Come on, everybody knows you're meant for better And say what you mean or you won't mean a thing to me Come on, everybody ignores you now But no one stop the end of the world Sure in time you'll be heard, and say Come on, everybody knows you're meant for better

What makes you happy?
For me,
I feel happy when I know that I always have my family to love and support me.
I feel happy when I know there are people who love me.
I feel happy when I can be with the one I love.
I feel happy when I have someone who listens to me.
I feel happy when I learn something new.
I feel happy when things turn out the way I want.
.... (many more)
Let's hear it from you first before I go on about mine.
If you're happy, what makes you happy? Can you please share some of your stories?

Blood Donation
How about you ? Do you want to donate ?
* Blood donation can be done as often as every 3 months. Because when some blood has been donated, the bone marrow plays an important role in producing new blood cells to replace blood loss to maintain the same blood volume. If one does not donate blood, the body will routinely excrete the degenerated blood cells in the form of urine, feces, or sweat.

Ice Cream Talk: It gets easier.
I just made chocolate ice cream. It's just like making coffee ice cream. Steps taken are similar. It gets easier as we have more practice. Like everything else we do, practice makes perfect.
So far, I've made:
- Strawberry sorbet
- Coffee ice cream
- Strawberry ice cream
- Chocolate ice cream

My first Coffee ice cream
- Instant coffee (Moccona Red) 1 tbsp
- Boiling water 2tbsp
- Egg yolks 4
- Sugar 1/2 cup
- Milk 200 ml
- Double cream (lightly whipped) 300 ml
I really feel that cooking is like making a piece of art. Actually, it's not hard to make ice cream at all. It's a really enjoyable thing to do. I spent two hours in total making this. I took more steps to make this than last time when I made Strawberry sorbet.
I thought it tastes alright. Very rich and creamy. I'll probably put a bit less cream and sugar next time. Not sure. Gotta ask people to taste it first.
If you're lucky, you might. :P

20 foods you should be eating more of (2)
Turkey is high in protein, just like chicken and is incredibly lean, meaning it is perfect for a low-fat diet or if you exercise a lot.
Quinoa
Full of protein, amino acids (all of them), magnesium, iron and copper, this grain is thought to help people who suffer from migraines and diabetes. It's particularly good in salads and, because of the protein, will make you feel full up for longer.
Prunes
Full of protein, amino acids (all of them), magnesium, iron and copper, this grain is thought to help people who suffer from migraines and diabetes. It's particularly good in salads and, because of the protein, will make you feel full up for longer.
Frozen Berries
Almost as good as the real thing, loading up your freezer with chilled berries allows you to enjoy antioxidant-rich delights such as blueberries and raspberries all year round.
Fennel
It's a surprisingly rich source of vitamin C, a nutrient which the body is unable to produce on its own. Vitamin C prevents cell damage, looks after your joints and protects your immune system. The high fibre, folate and potassium content also promotes cardiovascular and colon health.
Swiss Chard
The phytonutrients and fibre keep your digestive system healthy while high levels of vitamin K are known to promote bone health. Its vitamin C reserves, meanwhile, boost your immune system.
Liver
Liver contains B vitamins, vitamin A, zinc, selenium, protein, vitamin C and iron. Liver is therefore good for your cardiovascular health and immune system, energy levels and for cancer prevention.
Turmeric
Turmeric is an excellent source of curcumin, which is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and protection against bowel cancer. If you're making spicey food, sprinkle it on liberally.
Brown Rice
So why is brown rice better than white? The production of brown rice retains most of the nutritional value, while turning it into white rice strips away much of the B vitamins, iron, fibre and essential fatty acids.
Chillies
Did you know that chillies can speed up your metabolism and help you lose weight? As well as being full of vitamin A, C and fibre, chilli can increase the amount of calories you work off by 15%. Burn baby burn!
20 foods you should be eating more of (1)
Frozen peas
Chilling peas almost as soon as they are picked keeps them high in B vitamins for energy, vitamin C to fight illness and soluble fibre to keep your cholesterol level happy.
Baked beans
Baked beans deliver a protein shot equivalent to that of an egg. Baked beans are also full of soluble fibre and are low in fat and calories.
Poached eggs
The main benefit of eating eggs is the high levels of protein, which helps the body to maintain muscle and makes you feel full up for longer. Poaching is the best way to eat them.
Dark Chocolate
Milk chocolate far outsells dark chocolate, but the latter is much better for you as it is rich in antioxidants, which help the body fight illness. Go for one that contains at least 70% cocoa and, if you want a real buzz, try a 100% cocoa variety.
Peppermint Tea
Peppermint tea, with naturally high levels of essential oils, is known to aid digestion, promote calm and is caffeine free, so won't keep you awake at night.
Red Cabbage
The deep red colour in red cabbage comes from flavanoids, an antioxidant that protects against cancer. The vegetable is also high in vitamin C, calcium and sulphoraphane, another cancer-fighting chemical.
Raw Beetroot
Fresh beetroot is best. Heating beetroot decreases the health kick, so have it grated onto a salad to benefit from high levels of folate, a B vitamin that protects your heart and, like red cabbage, antioxidants that can prevent cancer.
Sardines
Sardines are high in essential fatty acids, iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc, copper and vitamins A and B. Just don't eat them for lunch at work, unless you enjoy eating on your own.
Oysters
Oysters are one of the best concentrated sources of zinc, which protects the immune system. Oysters are also low in fat and calories, bad cholesterol and are thought to maintain collagen levels and thus keeping our skin wrinkle and sag-free.
Edamame Beans
Soya beans are thought to be the only vegetable to contain all nine amino acids and is a protein source to rival chicken, red meat or eggs. Edamame are also high in vitamin C and fibre.
